FULL INTERIOR DESIGN SERVICE
After an initial design consultation, Amelia will prepare a tailored package to suit your brief. The package can encompass any of the individual services set out below, but in summary could include a full interior scheme, including all materials and finishes, joinery design, lighting design, and a schedule of furniture and furnishings. All of these are documented with both conceptual drawings and working drawings, allowing you to visualise your space, but also hand over to your builder.
SELECTION AND COLOUR CONSULTANT
Amelia accompanies clients to selection appointments and recognises that the choices available when building a home are enormous. Amelia provides individualised advice and support and a strength of Amelia's service is the rapport developed with clients in this process as she guides them towards finding their own style, whilst settling on some of the most difficult decisions they'll make in building or renovating a house. Amelia has a wealth of knowledge regarding the latest products and styles, from sanitaryware (tapware), appliances, floor coverings, tiles, door hardware and much more. Importantly, Amelia helps clients choose the internal finishes that complement each other, the home design, and the overall style which clients are aiming for.
JOINERY DESIGN
Based on the client brief, Amelia is able to design the joinery for an entire home or just one space. Amelia has designed kitchens, bathrooms, laundries and bars as well as bespoke furniture such as bookcases and entertainment units. Amelia prepares the conceptual drawings to enable clients to visualise their space, followed by a set of working drawings and throughout the process discusses colour and material finishes with clients, to ensure the design is truly reflective of the client's wishes and style. Amelia works with cabinetmakers to ensure the product meets the client's expectation whilst also ensuring the client receives the best value. Importantly, unlike many other interior designers, Amelia does the design and documentation herself, ensuring the client's vision and message doesn't get lost in translation.
3D RENDERING
Amelia provides 3D renders of interior spaces based on your finishes, materials and joinery design so you can see how the finished product is going to look., ensuring piece of mind in your choices.
INTERIOR STYLING
Amelia provides full furnishing and furniture schedules for clients, including a list of recommended suppliers. Amelia's service ranges from 'one-off' advice to ensure a certain piece of furniture or statement light fitting works with the existing space, to full schedule of furniture and furnishings for your home.
Amelia understands that styling needs to be consistent - both within the styling itself, as well as across the design of the home. The Housing Industry Association, in recognising Amelia's work for the 2020 Residential Interior Design Award noted the consistency of her styling as being the crowning achievement - merging both indoor and outdoor spaces to achieve synergy in the design.
